Bromley Mosque Project Moves Closer to Exchange
Alhamdulillah, all legal due diligence and property checks have now been completed, and we are preparing for the exchange of contracts.
It has been four months since our last major update in June, and much has been happening behind the scenes.
In our previous update, we shared that the purchase process had begun and our solicitors were progressing the legal work required before we could move towards exchange.
Since then, our solicitors have been carrying out the necessary due diligence on the property, including searches, enquiries and the required legal checks to ensure that we can proceed with the purchase.
Alhamdulillah, those checks have now been completed from our side.
The solicitors representing Bromley Islamic Centre and the seller have also worked through the terms of the transaction, and we are now moving towards agreeing the exchange date and paying the required deposit.
Once contracts are exchanged, we will have approximately four months to secure the remaining funds and complete the purchase.
The next four months are critical
We have reached a stage where significant financial support is now needed to take this project across the finish line.
Alongside the continued generosity of our local community, we are particularly seeking to connect with major donors, business owners, philanthropists and individuals who may be able to make substantial contributions or provide Qard Hasanah (interest-free loans).
If Allah has blessed you with the means to make a significant contribution, this is an opportunity to help establish a permanent House of Allah that can serve the community for generations.
Our hope and du'a is that, إن شاء الله, we can complete the purchase in time for our community to enter Ramadan with a permanent home for Bromley Islamic Centre, where we can establish the five daily prayers, stand together in Taraweeh, teach our children and build services for generations to come.

We spend much of our lives working to build homes and security for ourselves in this dunya.
Here is an opportunity to contribute towards a House of Allah in this dunya and seek from Allah سبحانه وتعالى a house in Jannah.

We have come a long way, by the permission of Allah. The next four months are critical. Now we need those whom Allah has blessed with the means to help us complete what we have started.
May Allah سبحانه وتعالى facilitate the purchase, place barakah in every contribution, reward everyone who has supported the project and make this Masjid a source of worship, guidance and Sadaqah Jariyah for generations to come.
