The satisfaction of people

The satisfaction of people is an unattainable goal, and the wise person is the one who seeks for himself a path based on truth, far from flattering others at the expense of his faith.

People cannot all be pleased, and the balance between seeking the pleasure of God and the pleasure of people is the best approach. The wise person does not compromise his principles or give up his values just to flatter or please others. One who follows the path of truth is not swayed by flattery, but remains steadfast in his principles, no matter the circumstances.

رضا الناس غاية لا تُدرَك، والعاقل من يلتمس لنفسه منهجاً قائماً على الحق بعيداً عن مداهنة الناس على حساب دينه.

فالناس لا يمكن إرضاؤهم جميعاً، والموازنة بين رضا الله ورضا الناس هي السبيل الأفضل. العاقل هو من لا يفرط في مبادئه، ولا يتنازل عن قيمه من أجل مجاملة أو إرضاء الآخرين. من يسير على منهج الحق لا يتأثر بالمداهنات، بل يبقى ثابتاً على مبادئه، مهما كانت الظروف.
