Many couples wish to have authentic Islamic recognition of their marriage, in addition to their civil marriage. The Bromley Islamic Centre (JMIC) can provide this simple service, where the bride and groom make their commitment to an Islamic marriage through their freely given consent, and the groom gives to the bride a dowry.
The Bromley Islamic Centre strongly recommends that couples undertake a legal civil marriage separately.
